If you don’t know about it yet, you soon will because the annual Chili & Beer Festival is one of Colorado’s best summer festivals. Mainly because it is located at the base of Mt. Crested Butte—guaranteed gorgeous views.

The festival opened its doors at 11:30 a.m. so chili lovers could get in early. Beer was served promptly at noon.
In no time at all, the area was swarmed with students, couples, and families enjoying craft beer and award-winning chili.

Tip: If you have a weaker stomach, have pepto bismol on hand. Not all chili goes with beer.
Until next time,
